What: DTH3 #31 - Fall Running in Rijswijk

When: Sunday, October 4th at 3:00 (pack off at 3:30)

Where: Bicycle Club De Spartaan in Rijswijk at Lange Kleiweg 116

Hares: Pablow, Crusher and Horn BlowerHash Cash: €15 adult, €10 child (dinner included)

Directions:Public Transportation: From Centraal Station, catch train on track #1 towards Rosendaal at 13:58. Get off at Rijswijk at 14:09. Catch bus #130 towards Delft at 14:14. Get off at 14:18 at TNO/Lange Kleiweg. Quick 4 minute walk to sports club. Consult www.92920v.nl for other options.

Car: Take A12 (Utrechtsebaan). Head towards A4 direction Rijswijk / Rotterdam, then A4 direction Rijswijk / Den Haag Zuid / Hoek van Holland. Take Exit 10: Plaspoelpolder. At traffic lights, go Right. Attraffic lights, go Left onto Veraartlaan. At next traffic lights, go straight. At end of road, go Left onto Lange Kleiweg. Across the viaduct, on your right hand side, you will first see a hockeyclub, and then the bicycle club.

Hare Notes: Yesterday's hash was so great (photos to be uploaded on website soon), that we want to get right back out and hash some more! Plan on bringing Frisbees or other small lawn toys so the kids can play while we're snacking on the terrace after the run. Please RSVP by email.

Dutch Treat Hash #30

What: DTH3 #30 - Let’s Go Fly a Kite in Scheveningen

When: Sunday, September 27th at 13:00 (pack off at 13:30--note earlier start time due to allowing plenty of time afterwards to enjoy Kite Festival)

Where: Zwarte Pad in Scheveningen (turn around point for Tram 1/9)

Hare: Opee

Hash Cash: €2 adults / €1 kids

Hare Notes: Please join us for the first hash of the fall. We’ll try to keep the trail short so we can spend much of the afternoon on the beach enjoying the 31st International Kite Festival.

Directions: Public Transportation: Catch either Tram 1 or 9 from Den Haag Centraal and take to the end of the line

Car: Parking will likely be difficult due to the nice weather and festival. Drive at your own risk!

What: DTH3 #29 - Farewell to Our Favorite Live Hare

When: Sunday, June 7th at 2:00 (pack off at 2:30)

\Where: Entrance to the Vreugd en Rust Park on Parkweg, Voorburg

Hares: Trust the Suit, Frisky Feet, Lick Protector and Just Camilla (who's begging for a name!)

Hash Cash Euro 2 adult, Euro 1 child

Directions:  

Public Transportation: The nearest bus stop is Rozenboomlaan.  The buses possible are the 39 or 45 from direction Central Station, or the 23 bus as well. 

Car: Click here for a map, but keep in mind that the beginning is at the Parkweg entrance, not the entrance shown on the map. 

Hare Notes: Please join us as we bid a fond farewell to our favorite hare, Trust the Suit, and his family as they prepare to move back to the UK. There will be tea and cake served afterwards at their house.

SPECIAL NOTE: There will be one last hash before we break for the summer on Sunday, July 12th.

When: Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 14:00 (pack off at 14:30)

Where: Look for Hares in front of the Plus Supermarket at Prins Frederiklaan 185 in Leidschendam

Hares: Comes Too Soon, Tuna Melt

Hash Cash: Adults: €4 Kids: €2

Hare Notes: Come join us to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Dutch Treat Hash. In honor of Queen’s Day, let’s wear orange. The weather should be perfect for a great run, a trash pick-up in honor of Earth Day, and a BBQ back at the hares’ house. Please bring grillables for your family and something to share. Drinks and munchies will be provided. Now would be a great chance to bring along some friends so they can experience hashing.  RSVPs by e-mail would be appreciated.

By public transport: From Den Haag Centraal, take Bus #39 at 13:45 Richting Leidschendam to Stop: Dillenburgsingel at 14:09. Stop is directly in front of shopping center. Look for hashers in near the front of Plus.

Hare Notes:  Live trail in Cligendael and Haagse Bos. Afterwards for food, drink and trampolining at hares’ house at Jozef Israeslaan, 18, 2596 AP Den Haag. Please bring some food to share and RSVP by March 20^th.

By public transport:  From Den Haag Centraal, bus number 18 (direction Cligendael) to Jozef Israelsplein or Tram 9, stop by Wassenaarseweg (5 mins walk). Check out www.9292ov.nl

Hare Notes:  Come watch the Mad Hare of March set a live trail for the Dutch Treat’s first hash of 2009. Afterwards, we can go to De Boshut snack bar at Badhuisweg 123.
