Welcome to the DTH3 website. We're a group of expats and locals in Den Haag who happen to be drinkers with a running problem as well as the proud owners of hash horrors (otherwise known as children). In an effort to help raise the next generation of hashers, in 2006 we founded a kindler, gentler hash with kid-friendly trails, beer breaks and circles. Dutch Treat Hash #16

What: DTH3 #16 – In Search of Swamps in Alphen a/d Rijn

When: Sunday, November 18 at 14:00 (pack off at 14:30)

Where: Parking lot of easy to recognize restaurant Original Chinese Palace on Burg. Bruins Slotsingel 20, 2403 NC Alphen aan den Rijn

Hares: Cliff Diver and Mud Diver

Hash Cash: Adults: €2 Kids: €1


Hare Notes: Get ready for a “Sunday afternoon stroll around the Zegerplas,” which is Alphen’s lake or a “shiggyful romp through the swamp around the golf course” depending on the weather. In other words, bring dry clothes and shoes because you’re going to get wet.


By public transport: Get to Leiden Centraal at your leisure. Then catch the 13:22 towards Utrecht on Spoor 1. Alphen a/d Rijn is the 1st stop at 13:37. Catch Bus #182 towards Leiden at 14:00. Get off at Zegerplas at 14:09. Walk 1 minute to the restaurant.
